Budget Inn San Gabriel

Please don’t stay here. I’m embarrassed to admit that I stayed here myself. I arrived at the location physically exhausted, and I would have walked right out once I got in the room but I was not in physical shape to drive or look for something else. I killed a cockroach on the room before going to bed. I threw a pillow on the floor that had long hair that wasn’t mine. Long hair on the desk that wasn’t mine. The physical shape of the room needed a lot of attention as well. I was also forced to have my ID held at the front desk because of some computer issue, to which I did not feel safe. I brought the issue to the man at checkout and he said sometimes bugs come. Did not apologize or take any interest in my issue.

Don't bother going to this hotel. Really bad costumer service and rooms, two major parts which make up for a good hotel. You'll regret booking here.||||The hotel was easily accessible by car.||||First off, regarding amenities: It appears that they don't even have a water boiler, and the Indian lady at the counter informed me that the phone in the hotel room only calls to 1-800 numbers. We had those to-go macaroni & cheese boxes, and despite implying that this was our DINNER, she continued to refuse with a stern "no" to boil some water, or even bother to help prepare the mac and cheese. Highly not recommended, It's very noisy next to the road and has a strong odorThere are a few hairs in and on the white sheets. Not sure if they have been washed.The heating is not working and the room is very cold

Stayed on the ground floor in a room without windows, high humidity and a filthy AC unit. Hands down the worst Motel experience I had the displeasure to experience. The clerk took forever to register me and „find a room“ in the system. So add outdated IT systems and shoddy privacy to the list as well.

This property was extremely disappointing and did not match the listing at all. The room was dirty, there was no cleaning service for an entire week, and one day there was no running water for hours. The inn is located above a noisy car garage with loud music and engine noise day and night. The overall condition was poor and did not meet basic hotel standards. DO NOT staying here.
