Budget Inn of St. Cloud

Hubby & I arrived on bicycles and were greeted warmly. When we arrived it was hot outside so we used the easily understanding thermostat to cool us off. When we left the following morning it was c-c-c-cold outside and we used the thermostat to heat us and the room up. The room was perfect and we'd stay again. The floor was white tile and very clean. There was a kuerig-type coffee maker with reg decaf coffee, plus green tea. The mini frig had a separate compartment for the freezer. The shower was perfect with plenty of hot water. The towels soft and absorbent. The back-side of the hotel is where we stay and very quiet. The 2-queen beds were comfy and had 2 pillows each. Everything was spotless! Nice to find a small family-owned place to support when we are bicycling.

I would not stay at this inn ever again. The guy at the front desk was quite rude and unpleasant to work with. The room that we were put in, smelt so much like bleach I ended up getting sick. After explaining that I was pregnant and the smell was too much to handle, he was still unwilling to work with us and the only option was to pay more for a different room. When it’s the inns fault for providing us with an unsafe room. I would say just spend the extra $10 more and get yourself into a real hotel.

VERY nice place, everything has been updated, easy parking, close to restaurants, beach & marina. We recommend this place.

Booked this hotel last minute late at night for one night due to a difficult situation. We did not have high expectations due to its outwardly appearance, but the owner was the sweetest and very helpful. We booked the smallest room, and it was very clean, and the bathroom looked so modern and upscale, like from an expensive hotel. It had everything you could need for one night. However, the bed sheets looked dirty, or so we thought because they had stains all over. The owner told us that they were recently changed but he had no issue bringing us fresh new clean sheets. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive. Definitely reasonable price. Would love to stay here again.

Nice clean hotel, comfortable beds, has soap dispenser in the shower and next to the sink. Clean rooms. The guy who checked me in was nice ans helpful. Would for sure stay there again. Off 192 close to restaurants, shopping and attractions. Check out grannys bbg down the road really good food.
