Budget inn by Oyo San Augustine

Very nice room great customer service right off the highway. Very quiet love that they had a convenience store and a full-size laundromat in the hotel. Only disappointment was no breakfast.

My husband stayed in this hotel while working nearby (oil & gas). I had purchased him an Apple Ipod touch to stay in contact through facebook when there was wi-fi available. He and a co-worker left the room at the same time for work and returned at the same time after work. Upon returning his Ipod was gone. When he informed the hotel management they refused to even call police or give him the phone number. He had to go to a convenient store to get the number. No one else had access to the room accept management and housekeeping. So needless to say we are out of well over $300 for the ipod and applications. So it turned out to be a very expensive stay!

We booked two hotel rooms here 2 months before our arrival date through hotels.com. When we arrived at the hotel they said they didn't have rooms for us. I had to pull up my receipt before they would refund my money. We were in town for a wedding (traveled 10hrs to get here) and found out they did the same thing to two other couples in our family. I wouldn't plan on having a room if you pay in advance, they'll likely sell it to someone who will pay them more and say they have no room for you. Luckily hotels.com made sure I got a refund.

Do NOT book with this hotel. We were checked into our room and they told us our room had been canceled and we needed to leave unless we rebooked the room. After calls with OYO corporate, tons of back/forth with no one knowing who cancelled the room, we were stuck. We had to rebook, bring promised a refund for the first pre-paid room. Even after supposed escalation, we were informed we would not be getting a refund. This hotel chain is a SCAM. Stay away.

Check In is through the adjoined Gas Station. There's a first for everything. Traffic Noise is Heavy. Not to mention Lot Lizards and RifRaff are Everywhere. Better Come Strapped!
