Budget Inn

Older Inn but perfect on a budget. It's not fancy but the room was very clean. I am picky and always check under mattresses. The beds were comfortable. Hair dryer in bathroom was also a night light so was good for my young daughter. Bathroom had space to move around. Desk manager was super friendly and helpful. Felt safe and comfortable. Will definitely stay there again.

We decided to stop here since it was the halfway point on our way to Ruidoso and stayed again our way back! This was a great simple place to stay at! It had everything we needed and the room was very clean and neat as well as the bathroom. There were plenty of outlets as well so that we could charge the kids devices and still have room for ours! Front desk was super helpful on finding what to eat! Will stay again on our next vacation to Ruidoso!

It's a room with a lock on it and that's about it. If you have expectations beyond that you should check them at the door. But if you're on a road trip and you just need a place to sleep and don't need something super clean (my room had some dirty spots), then go for it. It was easy to find.

😊: Breakfast? There was breakfast?. 😢: The heater blew cold air for about 5 minutes and then blew warm air for a few more minutes, would shut off and do it all over again. All night no matter what you set the temperature at. Sometimes only blew cold air..

Like the other reviews mention, yes, the property is old. However, it is absolutely immaculately clean! I was in utter shock...I have stayed at high-end, big name hotels in the city that could learn a lesson in housekeeping from these folks. The owner was extremely friendly at check-in, the rate was fair, and I’ll definitely stay here again on my next trip through town.
