Bucky's Blind Lodge

Our stay at Bucky’s Blind had some fun features, but unfortunately there were several safety and cleanliness concerns that made the experience disappointing. Overall cleanliness of the cabin was subpar. There were multiple areas with visible dust buildup, fingerprints on appliances, hair left in the master bathtub, and dried food on dishes that were pulled directly from the cabinet. In the master bathroom, the plunger was stored where the towels were kept, which was unpleasant and unsanitary. The shower in the second bathroom drained extremely slow, which meant the water was above your ankles after a quick shower. The outside deck wood was rotting and felt extremely unsafe to walk on. The outdoor area was also poorly lit, which limited what we could do at night (dinner, games, hot tub),

The cabin was very nice in a picturesque location with lovely scenery and fairly well appointed. However, the master bedroom bed squeaked with every move we made, so not the best nights' sleep. I emailed owners/mgmt. during our stay with a few questions and never got a response. A sheet posted on fridge w/ info about wifi, where to deposit trash (the outside trash cans by cabin have lids screwed down...?), other pertinent details would be helpful.

Hot tub smelled like a swamp,and one of the beds was very uncomfortable,other than that it was great.

This is our second time to stay in this cabin this company has many good cabins Great time very secluded

Absolutely recommend!! Everything was great and in order as it should be!! We will be back!
