Brookshire Inn

Older, quiet inn but clean with friendliest staff I’ve ever met. Cricket and Sandy were so kind to us and kept asking if there was anything else we might need. Room was spacious with tv, microwave and coffee maker. Pleasant experience.

We paid $90 for 1 night as we opened the door to walk up the stairs to our room all we smelled was sweaty nasty armpit. In our room there is NO fridge, NO microwave, and the lights in the room beside the bed did NOT work. Yes we got a smoking room and the covers on the bed had burn holes all over them. And then when we took shower the tub didn't drain. The only thing good abt this hotel was the lady at the front desk tonight when we checked-in. I tried to upload photos but for some reason wouldn't let me

We come every year and stay for a long weekend. The rooms are dated but clean. The staff is personable and helpful. The location is good too.

Clean rooms, bedspread is outdated and has holes burnt into it from previous smokers staying in the room. 2nd floor is designated for smokers and no elevator can make it a bit of a struggle for anyone with a large amount of travel luggage. Service was above and beyond which greatly made up for any lacking atmosphere. The lobby is decorated with wreaths, centerpieces, and over the top decor. Perhaps the budget for keeping the lobby up to date should be allocated to updating room decor and bedding, but overall the staff made the experience good overall.
