Good quiet location in old town river side. Scenery to back yard patio with trashes and to the river on the other side. Friendly punctual hosts. Good enough breakfast. Fine DVD sound system. No door between the rooms.
This is no longer a bed and breakfast they were auctioning off the house and all the items in it which is why I went. I was disappointed because they had many of the areas of the home roped-off. However me being me made my way into those areas and took lots of pictures. The auction was okay and I didn't stick around to see how much the place went for however I did catch a ghost on camera which is why I went. Very beautiful place but has been run down the third floor was roped off which is where all the maids servants quarters were and the children's bedroom and playroom. Spoke to a former employee or 14 years and he told me there was much activity within the house meaning Paranormal Activity I didn't get much on my recorder or camera I believe because there were too many people wandering t
I went there because they were auctioning off the house and everything in it I wasn't so much interested in the things they were autioning off I just wanted a tour of the home. they had caution tape all over the house even if I was going to really buy the house I wouldn't be able to know what I was buying that pissed me off but me being me made my way to those areas anyway and wow what a house! The third floor was room upon room there was so many servant quarters very small indeed and then there was a child's playroom and a child's bedroom in which obviously the parents didn't take care of, the servants did. I spoke to a person who worked there for 14 years many years ago he told me a lot especially that the house was active and especially the third floor. Why would they have this floor r

It's sad the state of disrepair this glorious old place is in!!! I really hope whomever bought it is fixing her to her original glory!!!
