Broken Wheel Campground

Nice place. Stayed there one night on our way through the area. A quiet, relaxed campground with lots of seasonal guests, one of whom welcomed us when we arrived because the owner was out. Would stay again.

The owner of the campground is very nice and place is pretty clean but that's all the good I have to say. The bathrooms were, well typical except the toilets are for 5 years olds. Very, very low to the ground. Stall are strange, doors are shoulder height so when you stand you see clearly over.They are very clean though which is nice. Two showers, small but hot water and good pressure.||Now the seasonals. We were put next to a group that partied all night. Both nights. First night they were up until 3:30 (and so was I), second night it was 5AM!!!! Quiet hours are supposed to be 11:30. Nobody enforces this so the seasonal do whatever they want. There was another group at the far end partying until about 3am. If you are not a night owl then this is not the place for you. They have

The owner is a really great person who cares about the campground. The facilities were well maintained. The seasonal campers are a very close knit community and appear to get along well. The weekdays were very quiet and peaceful...it was almost a ghost town, which I like when camping, but the weekend evenings were a little more rowdy which I understand some people would enjoy.

Nice family campground with a good mix of seasonal and weekenders. Pool and playground are in pretty good shape. Place is on the smaller side so it feels a little more intimate than those huge campgrounds.
