Broad River Campground

One of my favorite campgrounds in Georgia. Has WiFi at check in but no Verizon service. Just far enough out that you can relax but with a three min walk can call loved ones and check in on them.

The campground is beautiful, especially at sunset, and the manager, Dawn, is very nice and helpful. Our stay was at the beginning of the "offseason" (November-December) so we were one of only a few people at the campground during the week. Beginning Thursday or Friday the campground would fill-up, especially around Thanksgiving, but on Sunday most people would clear out. Note that the sites are only partial hook-up (electric & water) with a dump station located at the front of the park. We were very excited about the campground, but we work remotely from our motorhome full-time so we were concerned about the cellular service based on previous reviews. We have both an AT&T & Verizon modem. AT&T cellular service is basically non-existent EXCEPT at spot 8, and that was pure luck. I had just e

Perfect if you want to fish. The campground is mostly clean. I believe the new Host are working hard on the facilities to make it better. But the sunsets are just unbelievable. Plus we had our movie night. Restrooms are clean.
