Brazos Outdoor Center

I’ve been here several times over the last few years and just recently for another kayak fishing trip with my brothers. Everyone that works here has always been so friendly, accommodating, and helpful. We rent kayaks (or bring our own), and they shuttle us up the river so we can spend the day fishing. We were here in 11/8/25 with the river a little low, and we caught over 80 bass between the 3 of us. Biggest was 3lb. They were hitting top water from 7:30-4:30pm it was unreal. Highly recommend this outfit if you’re looking to spend some time out on or near the river. We’ll be back for sure.

Loved this place! My family has been coming for a couple of years now. Yesterday 7/4/2025 was mine and my in-laws first time. The staff were beyond helpful and super friendly. The facility is super clean. I been to other camp sites and this one is by far my new favorite. We got rained out and left early (small children). The water access was great. Already planning our next trip for next week.

This place was nothing short of amazing. We were looking for a river close to home we could camp and float, this place did not disappoint. Lisa and her husband were so helpful and very informative on the river route and camping setup. We will definitely be visiting this location again soon.

We used the shuttle service to drop in at Old Brazos point and shuttle to Chisholm trail park. The driver was very knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Great service provided!

If you're in the area and planning a river trip. consider doing here. This place and the people running it are true saviors. No joke. They will come rescue you if you get in a bad way and let's be honest that is very possible on the river. They also have lots of supplies to help your trip and again I can't mention enough how awesome the people running it are. They helped me after i tipped my yak in some rapids that pushed me into a falling tree. I barely know them but the love is there. I will be going back and renting a place there and if it's something that interests you. You should consider this place as well
