Backcountry campgrounds are awesome and this one is no exception. Lying at the Canada/US border this campground is situated along the Lakeshore Trail right beside Upper Waterton Lake. There's a boat dock nearby and Boundary Creek drains into the lake just inside the US border.
New outhouse, large bear lockers, 3 tent pads with rocky black soil base. Tapped in tent pegs with a large stone found nearby. Nice and level.
The best way to walk into Canada!
Solo hike you had to talk loudly to keep the bear aware of your coming, so you both don’t freak out on each other 😬🐻😳🇨🇦💝🇺🇸
