Really nice motel. Its interior design is antiqued sure but the bed and blankets are new and nice. Im not sure why people would prefer grey chinese drywall over handcrafted wood... Its very clean, cleaner than newer motels I've stayed at. No TV - to me this is a great because watching TV is a waste of time and gives a tacky look. Pretentious city folk are the ones not liking this place.

We stayed here to be close to Great Basin N. P. The motel rooms are dated, as others have noted. However, they were VERY clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were super friendly and very accommodating with all requests. There aren't many restaurant choices near Baker, but that was OK because the restaurant here is good. We ate here 4 nights in a row and were very happy with everything we ordered. They make alot of things from scratch and even grind their own hamburger meat. There is also a small convenience store. This place is a solid choice for visiting Great Basin.

Friendly Staff, easy check in, great size room. Mini fridge & microwave. Comfy bed and great water pressure in the shower. My only concern was the hole in the ceiling! Was there a camera up there? I didn’t feel comfortable. I told them about it and said I would be out hiking all day. Would they please cover it atleast with some duct tape, and they did not. Disappointed. Ordered a breakfast burrito on site restaurant. It was huge & delicious!!!|I would stay here over any place in Baker. Only 17min drive to Great Basin NP! Gas station on site as well.

I stay in a motel almost every night and this was not worth it! I understand its one of the only things available that far out but had I known, Baker has a handful of Airbnb that are probably better option for the price, I would have went there but cant cancel if you book through the website. The price is way high considering a Motel 6 offers tv's, a room you dont have to heat with a plug in space heater and most of the time a small breakfast. Everything about this place is just old and someone could really make it a destination if they cared to do so. And online it says theres a tv and if you ask about it, all they say is no tv. Not any reason for there being no tv, just no tv. Dont expect a free cup of coffee in the morning either, even if you spend $500 in fuel. Its the little thin

TL;DR: A guest was given a key to my locked room at 2–2:30 a.m. while I was asleep, and they entered my room. The only acknowledgment I received on-site was a quick “sorry about that,” and management has not responded to my detailed email sent on Nov 14. It is now Nov 30 with no reply. Until proper training and lock/security procedures are addressed, I cannot recommend staying here. I stayed at the Border Inn on Nov 7–8 in Room 9. Around 2:00–2:30 a.m., while my partner and I were asleep, someone was given a key to our locked room and walked in on us. We woke up suddenly as this person opened the door and stepped inside. Thankfully, they exited immediately once they realized the room was occupied, but it was an incredibly frightening and unsafe experience. After this incident, neither of
