Boondocks Campground

NO amenities. It's a small parking lot. We really needed a shower. Our hot water heater is broken. But, there's 20/30/50 hookup, sewer and water. Water does not taste good. All in all, glad we stayed. No shade.. It's been hot and my fiancé and dogs needed A/C. Honor box for payment. $30 cash. Call for credit card. Would recommend for a night.

Very convenient. Pulled up in the middle of the night to one of the pull through sites (2 or 3 of them). No bathroom but the gas station is right on the corner and was open early when we woke up. The train is on the other side of town so we didn’t hear it over our box fans. Worth the stay!

Very busy. Poor ground conditions for tent camping. View was amazing

Easy access off the interstate, full hookups for $30. They have a convenient overnight drop box for payment. We will be back!

Full Hookup sites with 30 or 50 amp. Big Rig friendly and during our 11 day stay we saw a couple of triple tows come in and camp overnight without any issues at all. No bathrooms, pool or other items like it, but the owner is very clear when you are booking so you are clear about what to expect. Super easy on and off the highway and just 15 minutes from Rapid City. Also, the town has a good restaurant for breakfast and lunch along with a store that houses a laundry mat, pizza shop, grocery store and liquor with a nice selection of everything. All within half a mile/walking distance. Lastly, the owners are super nice and great to deal with. We will be back for sure.
