The food and service are always good!
So we got a random charge fee of 100$ after a few days of renting this place. We was surprised to why we got charge because non of us smoke and we kept the room cleaned. Emailed them and they reply back the next day saying we were cleaning fish in the sink and had fish scales all over it. We did not do anything close to cleaning fish. We didn’t even clean our fish until we got home from the trip. All our fish was left in the coolers with ice to keep them fresh and cold. They wouldn’t reply me back after I message them that it wasn’t us or must been mistaken for another room. They just choose to ignored my messages for about a week now. Really disappointed that they are accusing me for something that we never did. We even double checked and make sure the room was clean before we left. We on
The lodge I stayed in had 2 queen size beds, 2 bunk beds, and a pull out couching. It comfortably fit 5 grown men and all our snow goose hunting gear. The lodge was modern and well kept up. Even the shower was pretty good. Our beds were made each afternoon and things were tidied up. I also had a roast beef sandwich at the restaurant which was also pretty good and beers were cheap. The little casino in back is a dingy room with a few video slot machines, I didn't both to play. Overall, recommend for sure staying and eating here.
Boomers has taken care of our annual fishing trip for the last 8 years. We have a large group of guys that need room for everyone for 5 days of fishing. Sometimes we need more room than just the 14 bed lodge and we rent cabins on the same property. Both the lodge and cabins are always clean and well maintained. We have never had complaints from anyone in our group over the years of accommodations. We take advantage of the 10% discount on dining in the café. The owner has even offered to cook our walleyes for us. How can you beat that? Wonderful people and a wonderful place.
