Bogue Chitto Swamp Cabins

My family and I stayed the weekend here and we really did enjoy it but there are a few things I will say . When booking you will be charged a cleaning fee separate from the actual stay so they do tax you twice . They have fire ants , just would suggest treating them before guest stay . The playground equipment is like one from your backyard and was covered in ants also a board is missing in the bridge. One of the picnic tables the wood is rotten and I almost went through being 120lbs . More fish in the pond ! I caught one little baby not even 5 minutes into fishing but that was the only one. I just suggest having more things to do and maybe an upgrade play set . Other than that we really enjoyed our time

Beautiful campground and very family friendly! Stayed for a long weekend and had so much fun exploring the trails and riding around on the rented golf cart. We stayed in the new cottages which were clean and beautiful! Pretty lake off the back porch and the cottage itself had everything you would need to hunker down and cook. The owners are so nice and the service they provided was above and beyond. We can’t wait to go back with the rest of our family!

My family and friends visited this weekend and we had a great time. We can not wait to back. The cabins were very clean and cozy. They also had golf carts available for us to rent. There were hiking trails and they led down to two small beaches to hang out on. The campgrounds were spotless and manicured to perfection. Our host David and Brittian were absolutely the Best and had great recommendations for near by attractions. We will definitely be going back for another stay.❤️

Morgan Britton even just crossing ashley out on the paths was very friendly they made our stay feel like we was family not visitors the lake house cabin was amazing clean and very welcoming from the time you open the door to home

Great stay, will definitely be back when we head to Zona ATV park again summer 2026 with Vessel Powersports!
