Boardwalk Plaza Hotel

We felt right at home. We can’t wait to come back. truly, the birds were a shock. I love animals and we had no idea they had birds. Emerald didn’t wanna leave my shoulders so that I could go to the restaurant which by the way is phenomenal. We had a hot tub in our room. It was bliss. My husband wants to come back for Valentine’s Day. I would highly recommend it to anyone who would like to have fun in a wholesome environment.

We don't live all that far from the hotel, but wanted a nice getaway for Super Bowl weekend. We saw we could get a room with a 2-person jacuzzi and the off-season pricing made it more compelling. I've stayed at the Ritz-Carlton a few times and they could learn a thing or two from this place. The service was simply amazing and the location can't be beat. One of the parrots took a liking to my wife and hopped on her shoulder a few times. You almost feel like you've gone back in time when you stay here.

We spent our 30th anniversary here, for 4 days. The entire experience was perfect. Friendly and attentive staff, everyone made us feel at home. They talked about how well they are treated. This was without exception. It made us feel good to know this. The gentleman at the desk made us feel like we’d known him forever. Warm, kind, willing to do anything for you. The decor is like a museum of antiques. Warm burgundies and reds throughout. The pool was spotless and relaxing to sit by. We will be back. When you feel like you’ll be welcome again, it’s a win/win.

Your staff is absolutely AMAZING! We spoke to many who had worked over the Christmas holiday weekend and we were so impressed by their loyalty, kindness, helpfulness, friendliness, and all-around good people...most who have worked there for many years and complimented the owners for their hospitality and employment. We made it a point to thank as many as we could for being there for us. The decorations throughout the hotel were spectacular. We felt like we had gone back in time, Victorian style. They were a gorgeous sight to behold. This is the first time we weren't with family for Christmas (been a hard year...loss of several friends/family members) so we decided to forget the parties and head to the beach. It was perfect...as always! Thank you for never giving us a reason to complain. Ha

My partner and I spent Easter dinner here and we absolutely loved it. The food was incredible and we felt right at home with the service and ambiance. We looked around the lobby afterwards and it was like we were thrown back in time. Truly a fabulous location and we will be back.
