Boardwalk Inn

The pictures do not match the room, they are very run down and gross. If you’re thinking this is a standard older but clean Branson hotel, it’s not. I’ve been coming to Branson since I was a child and this is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I saw the other reviews about the weed smell and ignored them but it’s so much worse than you can imagine. Our toilet over flowed while we were gone, so then the room smelled like weed and gross toilet water. Breakfast is a joke, no real whole food and yogurt was expired. I will say the staff is nice enough and I appreciate that they allow pets but the rooms are terrible.

Clean room, great price,great service. I Also appreciated that because of its location we were walking distance to a multiple of fun things to see and do. After a long drive I was really glad I had booked our room here!

Good location but can you say “dump”? Low ceilings, ratty hall carpet, smelly rooms, the most laughable “complementary” breakfast ever (I double dog dare you to find actual meat in their sausage gravy). Lots of sketchy people around, hanging out in pajamas. Junk in the parking area. Don’t do it!!!!!!!

I recently stayed at both buildings on this shared property: the Boardwalk Inn (unrenovated) and the Suburban Studios (renovated). While the location is excellent—right in the heart of the Branson strip near a drive-in movie theater—the experience was mixed and not one I’d likely repeat. Booking & Check-In: I originally found rates on third-party sites, but after calling the hotel directly, the manager informed me those sites were overbooking and guests were being turned away. She offered me a room in the older Boardwalk Inn building, explaining it wasn’t renovated but was clean. I appreciated the transparency and early check-in. Key cards stopped working on us multiple times. nobody maintains the yard or property well. Beds need updates very uncomfortable. The pool is a hike especially when in the second building and has no shade. Do not recommend it.
