Review This is the last hostel-like space operating in Baltimore. It’s in a convenient location, with a shared kitchen with microwave, stovetop, kitchen ware & refrigerator. But it’s a misrepresentation to call this a hostel. The landlord is renting this as an apt & as a hostel concurrently. There are no private rooms. Though both long-term residents are nice, this creates tension, confusion & problems. The cost does not match what’s being offered. For $25/night this might be worth the hassle, for $50/night it is criminal! This is a basement level apartment in a row house converted to a 2-bunk hostel with a kitchen/sitting room, a shared, 1-person, full bathroom & a laundry room. The door code I received by text didn’t work. A note on the back door offered a # to call. A friendly volunt

**DO NOT BOOK** I tried to stay here but the owner didn't pay their power bill. I was jerked around with for three hours until I was able to get my bags and book a hotel. I then had to file a dispute through my credit card and text the owner multiple times in order to get refunded. The owner wouldn't contact directly until I had to find their number on their now defunct website. They repeatedly told me to stand by for refund, however it wasn't until I found their account on PayPal that I was able to request a refund. I was again told to stand by multiple times before finally getting a refund. Unfortunately this experience left a disappointing impression of Baltimore for me on my holidays.

We stayed at this deplorable hostel November 2024. There is a rat infestation in the hostel. The couch in the front room is stained and is not fit for humans to sit on. The linens were hairy and stained, and had food on them when we arrived. We had to wash our linens prior to sleeping. This was a horrible experience. The door did not lock to our rooms or to the front of the building. The lockers they supplied in the rooms were broken and you were not able to lock up your gear. We complained to the management and nothing was done. We are in the process of reporting this facility to the city. a rat ran over one of our students while he was sleeping. A female long term resident in the hostel confirmed that she had let the management know about the rodent problem and they did nothing. Y

It's not a youth hostel per se. The owner of the house decided to convert his/her basement into two rooms with bunk beds and convert the front area to a kitchen-type space. Good marketing and good way to earn additional money for the owner. The bunk beds are not very comfortable. Lumpy mattress. Not sure about the security of the front door. I did not see rats when I was staying there. I am sure there are rats or mice. It is essentially a basement converted into a hostel-type space. So I am sure there are rodents. Also, you can hear the water going through the pipes all the time. I stayed 3 nights. I only slept in the female-only room. I left early in the mornings and came home to sleep. I asked for a hair dryer one day. The man who did the check-ins was trying to hunt me down the next d
