Blythe Cottage Inn

I love this place! My partner and I lived in the Cottage for an extended stay in 2020 in order to be closer to family. It was absolutely a safe haven for us! The space is fully furnished and has all of the extra kitchen and household items needed to make our stay convenient. There are so many cozy touches that make it feel like home, and it's very clean and private. The location is perfect for Mount Vernon-- within walking distance to the businesses uptown but right next to peaceful parks and green space. Bob and Polly always go the extra mile to make you feel welcome, and are super responsive to any requests or issues you may have. I can't recommend the Blythe Cottage Inn enough!

The Blythe Cottage Inn is a gem of beauty and relaxation. I traveled with my sister and 3 littles ones for almost a week stay. The Inn accommodated us all perfectly. We all had our own bed and the littles shared. I fell in love with all the vintage touches! The bed spreads brought back fun memories at grandmas! The working refrigerator from the early 1900’s was a rare beauty to see and use. I bought frozen pizza for the kids and did a lot of cooking. The kitchen had several pizza pans, pizza cutter, pots, utensil, coffee pot, and more. The bathroom has the most beautiful wood planks. When you take a hot shower it’s like being in your own personal sauna! I look forward to staying again. We all loved how relaxing the home was and the gorgeous decor. Oh and my kids and I loved the location.

Stayed while visiting Cornell. Easy check-in/check-out. Comfortable space. Only there for a night and we wanted to try out local restaurants, so we didn't use the kitchen, but it appeared well-stocked. Felt like home, loved the vintage touches.

The rooms are well decorated, clean, and I had a awesome time there! The owners are wonderful warm people with their number one goal is you being happy with your experience at there place.

Wonderful little place! Great atmosphere! Very clean & a whole family could stay. Country in the middle of town. Highly recommended! !
