Blue Springs Inn

Gets the job done. About what you would expect from a cheap motel. We stayed here for a quick overnight and got what we expected for the price. It’s a pretty convenient location. Fine experience at check in. We arrived at 8pm on a Saturday and the office was closed, so we had to check in through the window. They put us in a “non-smoking” room that absolutely reeked of old cigarettes, there were hairs in the bed and stains on the furniture. I would definitely not stay here for more than a night and I understand why people would be upset if they had booked a multi-day stay. But for the 10 hours we actually spent in the room it was fine.

This was a great find! This is a small family owned motel. I have stayed here several times due to family business in Valdosta. It's well worth the 20 minute drive! The rooms have always been very clean, and the area is very quiet. There's only a convenience store next door that closes at 9:30 pm, a KOA campground across the road, and a fireworks store that's seasonal. Almost no traffic on the road. The owners are very nice, and this last time the man at the front desk was equally as nice and courteous. The beds are very comfortable, and the rooms now have a refrigerator and microwave. The building is older having been remodeled. There are no restaurants in the immediate area, so it does require a little bit of planning, but very worth it. Great place to stay. I was here for 2 1/2 months and I was very pleased with the location off the highway. The rooms were always kept clean and wasn't dirty at all. The cleaning crew is amazing and the lovely lady's in front are wonderful. Quick and easy checkin with check out being 11am. I would definitely recommend this hotel for stay in near future.

This hotel was a great find! I needed an affordable place to stay for the night and I wanted it to be clean. The front office was clean and the man working the desk was friendly. I was given a room around back. It was so nice and quiet. I'm a woman traveling alone and sometimes get nervous but not here! I felt entirely comfortable. The room was *very clean* and in good repair. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The internet worked well and I could get some work done. I had a great night's sleep and was not woken or disturbed by housekeeping. If you want a good night's sleep in a clean room, this is a great place to stop!

Unfortunately, I cannot give this hotel a higher rating than 2 stars. The room was very clean, the staff was helpful and courteous. But the door on our room did not feel secure. We slept well, but did not like that aspect of our stay. Just be aware.
