Honest review: More than half of the mountain (the entire advanced/expert portion) is inaccessible virtually year round according to the locals. 0 of the hot tubs in the condo areas work which I didn’t know about until I got out to them. Rooms were tidy and clean. Not great experiance.
Good skiing, but 3 star review is due to: The online ticketing system seems like a scam. I pre bought the tickets to save money and time, only to realize later that the same day pricing was cheaper and there was "nothing we can do". It feels like you're being punished for being proactive. The cafeteria service was quite poor. Extremely slow and no urgency, only to receive a very burnt Italian sandwich.
We had our wedding at Blue Knob in October 2025 in peak foliage! It could not have been more perfect. I almost hesitated to write a review because it felt like we got special treatment with how accommodating BK was with our extra requests (when in reality, I think the BK team is both superbly supportive & hardworking, and flexible & relaxed). We did our entire wedding weekend here – a welcome party on Friday (at the ski lodge), the ceremony & reception Saturday (at the conference center), and a goodbye pizza lunch on Sunday (at the Clubhouse). After the ceremony, we had cocktail hour at the ski lodge with appetizers and ski lift rides and everyone has raved that it was one of the coolest and most fun weddings they have attended. Driving past piles of snow taller than my car on the way to the resort in mid February but still half of the resort is closed including all advanced trails. I could update my review in the future if it’s ever opened up more somehow. Employees are nice and helpful, give a raise to the guy at the base of the mountain telling everyone to have a good trip and asking if they’re having fun always with a smile, he’s killing it in subzero wind chill.
