Blackwater Lodge

The Blackwater Lodge is an incredible property — situated on the shores of the beautiful and serene Blackwater Lake, this cabin is super spacious at somewhere around 8000 sq feet with giant windows, stunning views and wonderful amenities including a movie room, multiple sitting areas, vaulted ceilings, a water-facing deck outfitted with sound, two docks, a pontoon, water trampoline, kayaks, a hammock and sandy fire area in front of the water and more. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay — it so beautiful and relaxing here with no shortage of things to do. There were eight of us staying but the lodge could easily accommodate 20 or more people and you would still have plenty of room for everyone to relax. Lunch was great, went back for dinner with my family and we had a reservation for 7:30 and didnt get our food for over an hour and the food was okay. There was a wedding going on but there wasn't many people in the restaurant. Service just could have been a lot better.
