Blacks Camper Lots Sec. A

We had an excellent stay at Blacks! This campground is a little off the beaten path, but is very easy to get to with quick access to major roads. The property is absolutely gorgeous. It was so quiet, calm, and peaceful. Cindy is such a great host, she answered any questions we had very quickly and was super accommodating. We stayed at the campgrounds while attending the Healing Appalachia music festival, we boondock camped in the hay field, as all the hookup campsites were already full for the weekend. The campground has a water fill as well as a dump station. Cell service was very limited in the area, but sometimes it's nice to not have that. If I'm ever back in this area, we will definitely stay here again!

Mark and Cindy were great. The area was quite and peaceful. Cows and wildlife were always around and mornings were very beautiful while we drank our coffee. We would comeback in a heartbeat.

This is an amazing place to stay in a quiet country setting! It’s in a more rural area, but still within 10-15 minutes of anything you’d need. The owners are really nice people who made us feel very welcomed here. They also do long term, we stayed for 3 months. The campground is also well maintained, we had no issues with electric or water for our entire stay. We were in the section on top of the mountain and had no issues with Verizon or AT&T cell service We will definitely stay here again next time we’re in the Ashland area!

This is an amazing place! Staying here for my husband’s work and so far it has been great. Cindy is so kind and is willing to help in any way she can. There’s a trail that you can hike, which is really nice. They have cows and horses, which you can feed. The views are always amazing!

Awesome campground! We’ve been here three months while my husband is working in nearby Ironton, Ohio. It’s off the beaten path but so worth the drive. Beautiful scenery and wildlife along with farm animals. The owners/hosts are very accommodating and friendly. Cindy and I will be friends from here on out I’m sure. She also has a little bookshop on the grounds where she sells books and offers online sales as well. If the scenery and peace isn’t enough, get a book or 5 to fill your days. 😂 we will definitely be back if we are in the area again!
