Black Pine Inn

I personally thought this place was cool. The look of the outside is rustic and dark yet inviting. The room was clean and updated with a modern look, it doesn't really match the look on the outside but it was nice. There are a couple restaurants and bars within a short walking distance and gas station/convenience store with a good selection as well. Last but not least, if you are a commercial driver like me , there is a huge dirt lot right next door with plenty of truck parking. Just note that they do not provide a breakfast like a lot of other places. Clean rooms at a good price!

Lovely room. Nice wood floor and a comfortable bed. Hot shower and nice towels. Nicely decorated. Yes they are refurbishing the hotel but the only thing my room needed was some finish on floor trim and curtains or lower wattage bulbs outside but I like it really dark when I sleep. They have fixed the heat problem (of the other review) as my room was too warm. I asked if they could lower it which she did right away. There was a space heater but I didn’t need it. Great value for a one night stop on my drive home.

I travel for work and end up staying in dinner pretty small towns. Glad I stayed here. Nice room and the bed was fantastic. Warm on a cold fall night. I could barely hear noise from the next room, so generally quiet. No coffee maker in the room, if you are a coffee drinker. I also didn't ask if there was an ice machine. Overall a good place to stop in a place without many other options.

Checked in late was easy and smooth , super clean and comfy , blankets were amazing (extra fuzzy was a great touch) . Cute diner across the street !

This is probably the cleanest nicest homiest places I have ever stayed for this place is worth it I would stay here every time I'm close! It's that nice
