Black Canyon Motel

We stay at the Black Canyon Motel in Grace, ID every September while kayaking the Bear River. The rooms are spacious and immaculate. Vanessa consistently upgrades and renovates the rooms. Our room had new flooring, a large new flatscreen TV and adjustable beds. I highly recommend staying here if you are coming to the area.

Cutiest nicest cleanest little small town motel ive been too! The rooms were very reasonly priced. The beds felt like sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom towels were the same. The people were super nice. Just 10/10....we will be come back! Like a 20 min drive to lava hot springs also.

I stayed for a week for work and I had been upset over the hotels in Soda Springs not having Air Conditioning so I decided to check out the Black Canyon. It was easy to find lots of parking right there now the folks running the place were older but they were so nice. I paid the weekly rate it was more then fair. They gave me the run down on where to eat and all in the town. and showed me the room. It was very big and clean the television a bit dated but I didn't care, they had Air in the room which made my nights a lot more pleasant. I only wish I found the place sooner. So all the lousy hotels in Soda look out all your summer customers will be heading to Grace.

It is a great room in a small hotel. Really clean and bright lights. You could actually see to read. The staff was easy to work with. Thank you

This little hidden Gem is the perfect place to stay. When you want to go do the Lava Hot Spring fun it’s just a few minutes away. And then you come back and then you have the Reservoirs and Geyer’s and hiking. Then at the end of the day. You know you have the most amazing bed I have ever slept in. Clean and inviting room. All updated. And the best Management. I will gladly come back and send all my friends here.
