Bird-in-Hand Family Inn

I LOVE this place. I've been going here for the past 14 years, and have so many good memories! There is so much to do and see, and the rooms are very nice and also incredibly nostalgic-feeling! The pools are extremely relaxing, and they have plenty of room to swim in or recline in the hot tub! The breakfast offered is SO good, and the food tastes very fresh. Their donuts will always be my favorite in the world lol. The staff is very kind, and the cleaning services are so amazing! Plenty of friendly faces, beautiful scenery, and relaxing and cozy spots to hang out at. I absolutely recommend this place, and all of the wonderful memories you'll make here is so worth it!

We traveled to Bird-in-Hand Family Inn while visiting the Sight and Sound. While it is not a fancy hotel, it's spacious and clean. This is our 3rd stay in the last few years. We have two children (7 & 4) and the 2 indoor pools are a hit! They are well-maintained and warm. We introduced our girls to ping-pong, which they loved! The staff is friendly and courteous and made sure we had everything we needed. The bakery across the street has great coffee and good food. I highly recommend staying here.

My daughter, grandchildren and I throughly recommend Bird-in-Hand Family Inn for you stay in the area! Our room was very clean and comfortable, the staff are all friendly and the location is great! The grandchildren loved the indoor pools and hot tub. The property is lovely and the buffet is fantastic! We only stayed 2 nights, but would definitely have loved to stay longer. The town is quaint and it is close to Sight and Sound theater and other places of interest.

I’ve been coming here for years. Thinks it’s officially the last. The kid at the pool last night, was in the same spot the entire shift, actively watching the towels run out. At 9:30 i’m walking to leave and the towel rack is completely empty. I ask him if there more towels, his response; “Looks like we ran out, till the time i start a new load it would be too late. You could ask some guest to SHARE, but they wouldn’t appreciate that.” I couldn’t believe that response. Standing there with my wife soaking wet, i then asked if he could get us any towels from the normal room. Got a big no and some excuse. Guy should be reprimanded. I know for sure there’s a closet stacked with them down the hall, as we saw it walking in. Couldn’t believe that, and can’t believe that interaction. I couldn’t

We loved the indoor pool in the middle of December. The smorgasbord buffet for breakfast was a big hit. Bonus points for being walking distance from our hotel. There is also a small vendor market next door that is nice. Nice relaxing stay in Lancaster as usual. The only downfall was the power glitched in the middle of the night waking my children up in a strange place but other than that comfy beds warm, filling breakfast and a weekend full of shopping and relaxing was much needed and memories made with our family.
