It was awesome! The instructors were so sweet and patient.
Good skiing in the winter and great views in the summer, not that many runs though.
Visiting the area and reading the reviews, I assumed this place would have tubing and skiing areas along with the cross country trails. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. The tubing and skiing is at Fort Wainwright on the military base so it's not available to the public. I'm sure the cross country skiing here is great, but that is all that is offered here.
I go to birch hill ski area during the off season to run. Good place for that. There are also good mountain biking trails towards the top of the hill on the far left side. It's also good for viewing the northern lights during the long period of darkness.
Great tube hill!! We all had a blast. 10 times better than tube hills we've tried in Washington. Was not busy so no real waiting. Thanks for a great day!!
