Birch Cove Recreation Area

We have been coming to Birch Cove since 2019 or 2020. It is the absolute best and that includes bathrooms, swim area, camp site, EVERYTHING! VERY NICE AND CLEAN. It's quiet and everyone is always so friendly! You are not hounded by park managers or park officers. Our favorite campsites are 9, 12, and 11. All of them are nice, though! Thank you to all the staff that help keep this precious land beautiful and sacred!

Had a great time with the bros, jumped in the water and had a great time. But it started raining so hard our tents almost washed away and mind you this was at 3am. But made great memories will be going back soon

Great camp grounds, boys had a good time. Swam, fished (didn't catch anything) but had fun.

Good campground made better by a terrific host! Be sure to bring extra water hose and splitters. They are working through renovations at this campground and are expanding the RV pads. We stayed at site 87, which was a beautiful spot, right on the water, with a brand new concrete pad. The only downside was that the water spigot was around 200' away from our site. Justin, the host, loaned us some extra so we could get connected but we had to run the hose across the entrance of site 88 in order to reach. Otherwise, everything was great! The grounds have restrooms, a playground, and newly paved roads. Each site has 30-amp electric hookups, fire rings, BBQ grills, stand-up bars and concrete picnic tables. Our pad was fairly level and long enough for our 31' trailer with plenty of space for park

Big campground and I only saw 1 other camper. Very pretty and quiet. Bathroom/shower room was clean. Good cell signal. I was in the 40-64 loop close to the bathroom and I only saw cleaning crew and 1 other camper on my 1 night there. Would stay there again if I come thru that way again.
