BigRock Mountain

Only 2 stars because I’ll take some of the credit for my 2 and a half hour drive to come here to go tubing. They do not have tubing, I should have called. At first looking at their website I had my doubts because I saw no mention of it, but then I found the wavers to sign and there it was “BigRock Snow Tubing Form”. So I thought that was all I needed to know, so we picked our daughter up early from school and drove 2.5 hours. Hopefully this helps someone out that just checks the website, or maybe the owners will update their website. After receiving a response from the owner I appreciate them fixing their website, but to state that last year you made sure people knew you didn’t offer tubing? Nice hike for the family, beautiful views. 2023/02/19 - Family and I got to enjoy tubing at Big Roch today. This was my first time and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We really enjoyed coming here to ski! I am definitely a novice skier, but the staff were great with me getting me in my rentals & not making me feel any type of way because of my inexperience. My favourite thing is how good the beginner hill is, with a chair lift & two hills that are still fun once you get the hang of things - or are still fun for your friends who are good skiers to play around on while you learn & get comfortable for the big hill. Conditions were amazing the day we were there, and there were no lines all night long on their Wednesday Cheap Night - overall we had an awesome time, and we will absolutely be back!

With snow that's 6 inches over hard pan and in the glades it's all loose snow makes for some great sking and on Thursdays it's $10.00 lift ticket. Normal rates in the 30.00 to $40.00 range but for Northern Maine a great place to go in Marshill, Maine Action 5

First time going to Big Rock was last weekend with my sons rec program. We had a blast and can't wait to go again!! The prices are great. I'd like to thank Jason, one of the ski/ snowboard instructors, for making me feel welcome and comfortable about taking lessons. He was very patient and kind. Thanks Jason!! We'll definitely be going back!!
