Big Valley Motel

I had been awake since 3 pm on July 1st and started my trip from Minnesota to Arizona around 6:30 pm. After searching everywhere at night and was unable to find a motel that had room for my daughter who has ASD and myself. I was exhausted and passing out while driving just trying to find a place that could take us for the night. I immediately saw this as I turned the corner and I could not have been more in love. The owner was very friendly and respectful. I greatly appreciate this time and so far I'll be honest, the rooms are great. I don't mind having to get the hot water started as I'm used to it at an old residence. The bedrooms were lovely and the beds were super comfortable for someone who had been driving for almost 12 hours almost non-stop. My kid was nervous of the shower at first

On our sightseeing vacation in Colorado, we had the privilege of spending a night here, nestled among the mountains. The rooms were spotless, well maintained and our hostess went out of her way to make our stay memorable with her friendly ways. If you’re staying in this area, Big Valley Motel is the place.

Beautiful quaint country style rooms very spacious and accommodating. My family of 6 fit perfectly. Cable fridges and plenty of towels 4th st diner is great for breakfast and there’s a pub close by as well Also in walking distance of a gas station

Exceeded my expectations! Great location for me to stop on my motorcycle trip. Loraine was really nice and helpful. The place is well-kept, clean and comfortable. I had a small room with a single bed, yet the bathroom was surprisingly large and the unit had a little kitchen. I'll have to remember this place in the future!

Our room was very clean and tidy. We stayed three nights in a room with two queen beds, which gave us a little extra space to spread out. We loved being able to park right in front and bring our stuff in so easily. The grounds are nicely kept. Lorraine provides great hospitality--when the internet was down one day (while we were out enjoying the wonderful Colorado countryside), she came over to us when we returned and gave us the password to a different modem, and it worked the rest of our stay. It is an easy walk to several restaurants in the business district of Saguache.
