Best Western Waukesha Grand

Positive: location Negative: Some front desk attendance were never at the desk. I stayed for 4 days and homeless people were continually sitting in the lobby of the hotel and 2 particular individuals continually smoked by the front door. It was not a good look for the hotel

Zero customer service skills and zero resolution. Your fee's and when they are charged is unclear. Threatening to call the police on someone over the phone for questioning these fees is unacceptable. You lied to your customer relations department and no one is offering a resolution. I'll be sure to never stay at best western again and ill be sure my friends and family do the same. Kellie do better, your ability to handle customer related issues is poor at best. You blew this way out of proportion and your quick jump to calling the police leads me to believe you have done this to other customers before. First, and most egregious, our room (226) smelled awful. Clearly someone had smoked heavily in the bathroom, and it permeated the walls. Small details that make a difference were just off everywhere; poor wall texturing and painting with many mistakes not corrected, an extension cord hanging to plug in the tv, the light shade was old and cracked, the bathroom mirror was hung too short to see the top of my face without bending down. Outside our room, the ceiling panels in the hallway were stained, the button to close the elevator door didn't work, they have a very tiny eating area for breakfast with an attendant who only stops by very occasionally. I always have a wonderful stay at this Best Western. The staff is terrific and helpful, rooms are clean and kept that way - as is the hotel - and the location is great! My family and I really enjoy the pool amd I find the hot breakfast to be fresh and delicious. (Eggs, sausages, biscuits, gravy, waffles, etc.) This is my forst choice hotel when I am in the area and need something clean, affordable, and all around great!

Room is ok beds were comfortable but the guests beyond odd looks like it was temporary housing? Not the best place to stay. 5-6 people in one room, kids running till midnight on the top floor. It was definitely an unusual place to stay did not feel safe, and it was not about how people looked.
