Best Western Ville Platte

The hotel was in the middle of being renovated (I hope). It was old looking, only some lights worked, there was no elevator, and the stairs creaked AWFULLY when you climbed them. The hallways had an old smell, and the lobby smelled like onions, of all things. There was a continental breakfast, but the only thing that was edible was the waffle. The eggs were mushy and tasted weird; one bite of the muffin had my mother in law gagging. The beds were decent enough, the rooms were clean, and they provided the rest we needed before a long hard day ahead of us. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was perfect in relation to the funeral home we were going to the next day. Not a great stay, but not the worst I’ve had.

I recently had my workers stay at this hotel for a couple of days and could not have been more satisfied. The individuals running the hotel were extremely helpful and great at communicating. I would highly recommend staying here.

No elevator, rough area of town, mold in the bathroom, air freshener hanging on the ac unit, bathroom door hard to open, exhaust vent “screams” when you turn it on. Door lock broken and barely attached to door, carpet felt dirty, staff were friendly but the overall hotel was the worst I’ve ever stayed at.

They trippin for me talking on my phone outside in the parking lot. Told me I had to leave thats bullshit I was a paying customer and I was doing the respectful this by walking outside to take my phone call

If your in your room while they are cleaning it they will only clean the bathroom and not take your trash out even if you have them neatly bagged for them by the front door they will leave it for you to take it out yourself. And talking to one of the ladies at the front desk she will act like she’s trying to give you the card but when you reach for it she will pull back every time till she’s done talking. That was super annoying.
