Best Western Plus Guildwood Inn

Good location. Friendly staff at front desk. Slightly dated rooms and poor furniture placement/sizing but clean and comfortable. Tv remote was a challenge. No complimentary breakfast but there was a restaurant on site open for breakfast then for a few hours in the evening. Would plan eating elsewhere.

Locations good and hotel itself is clean. However, poorly managed. The hotel had new t.vs installed in rooms and rented them out before the new t.v were set up, front desk said there was nothing they could do, so the tv was just for show. Room also didn't have a microwave, which was odd and a mild inconvenience.

Positive: Location Negative: Air conditioner in room was very noisy, so we had to turn it off. It was an extremely hot day.

We have stay at this hotel many times before covid, we both feel that this hotel has gone down hill. We book a suite and was very disappointed. My husband who was not well took the bedroom and that night he had ants crawl on him also rooms was not as clean as usual especially the bathroom. He did not sleep that night. He told the staff and they said sorry to hear that. Did not offer anything. We will not stay here again. It use to be my favorite hotel in Point Edward. So disappointed. We do travel and usually look for Best Western hotel if possible. Just getting around to doing reviews.

The lobby is a mirage compared to the actual rooms. Once you enter the halls to the rooms I felt like I was transported back to the 80's. The bathroom tiles and the toilet seats stained yellow, no. Definitely needs renovated.
