Best Western Plus Delta Inn & Suites

Our recent stay at best western was great. We checked in late and was greeted warmly and nice by staff. The check in process was smooth and enjoyable. The front desk was friendly, informative and professional. All encounters with staff were friendly and professional. Our room was clean and roomy. The only down side were the beds were not as comfortable and made a lot of noise when we would move or toss and turn. It was a bit noisy. We could hear the people above us. Carmen was our attendant for the room and did a great job having the room clean and enjoyable. The hotel offered breakfast which was a plus! Eggs, sausage, seasoned potatoes, oj just to name a few. Along with a coffee machine that made lattes and cappuccino! It was a great way to start off the day. We were hesitate at first

The location was very convenient, I had driven a long way and worked all day before the drive so I was tired; the room was quiet which is what I needed for rest. Nice clean room, the soaps were a nice touch.

The fire alarm went off at 4 am one day, and at 5:20 the next morning. There’s mildew in the bathrooms and when you turn on the heat your room fills with cigarette smoke smell. Theres only a few fast food and gas stations within walking distance. Possibly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

I was very disappointed with my stay. From the moment I arrived, I didn’t feel welcomed—there was no greeting, and the customer service throughout was unfriendly and unhelpful. The cleanliness was also concerning, as I found a blood spot on the sheets, which is completely unacceptable. The bedding was also uncomfortable, with very thin covers that did not make for a restful night. When I asked for pool towels, I was told I had to bring back my used towels first before getting fresh ones, which meant walking all the way back to my room. In all my years of traveling, I’ve never experienced such a policy. On top of that, I was charged a $150 deposit that won’t be refunded for 5–7 business days, which felt unreasonable.
