Best Western Plaquemine Inn

Nothing wrong here the staff do a great job ,rooms are clean and safe . Its a little far from the highway but the map shows that .If you need a night its a good option . TV ,ice maker and soda machine work fine food delivery options were plentiful .water pressure was good ,I would stay here again my service dog likes the place and breakfast was open early ,thanks foks i needed a good safe night and you delivered

There were bedbugs in our beds and cockroaches in our room. We killed 2 cockroaches, and 2 big and 7 small bed bugs. We ended up sleeping on one bed because the other one had lots of bedbugs. We notified receptionist about that in the morning. The shower curtain in the rolling shower was too short to keep the water in.

I started staying here Dec 10th-16th (2025) the first night I got there I woke up to what I thought was a spider bite on my arm didn’t think anything of it. Then as the week goes on I start to get more and more bumps so I thought I had a rash. Needless to say when I got off the plane today Dec 17th 2025 I had my wife look at what I thought was a rash and said they are all bites so I look at the reviews and it says they recently had bed bugs and lone and behold that’s exactly what my bites look like. So as of Dec 16th 2025 they still have bed bugs.

There's ROACHES in the bathroom. The A/C doesn't work right. They're sending someone to spray the bathroom. They can't even move me because they're full up for the night. I'd leave but every other hotel in the area is booked. I'm disgusted. I'm only here for a night thank God.

While visiting friends in Plaquemine, we stayed here for convenience. Although the room was acceptable clean, the beds were horrible. You could feel the springs! The shower was broken. Only the hot water was working, so I had to go to my friend's room. As a disabled person, little sleep was had due to the bed. I will buy a memory foam topper if we ever have to stay here again. Use to travel frequently, and a topper saved me from no sleep many times.
