Best Western Paris Inn

Avoid if at all possible. Staff was unfriendly. The parking lot is dark and sketchy. As a female if I had been alone I would not have stayed because it felt unsafe. Carpet and furnishings were vintage 80's and the room smelled like bleach. Our room was never cleaned. We called for clean towels and they were never delivered. We put our used towels in the hallway thinking that would prompt service. Nope. The towels were removed but the room was still not cleaned and now we had NO towels. This property should not have the Best Western name. It is not up to the standards I expect from the brand.

We arrived at 9PM and checked into our room (be advised that half of the hotel is a separate building and you have to walk outside in a sketchy parking lot to get to it). When we got to our room, the door was open. We stepped in and the room was in the worst condition I have ever seen. The furniture is banged up, there was no blanket on the bed, the pillows were dirty and on the couch? and the bathroom was foul. We called the front desk and the attendant offered us the room across the hall. It was as dated and beat up, with a smell of bleach and mold. We left immediately and stayed in Georgetown (highly recommend the clean, fresh, updated Hilton Garden Inn for the same price). Positive: The front desk employee who checked us in was extremely friendly and professional. She had noticed us pull in and park with our trailer and without being asked offered us a room in front of our trailer for our convenience. Negative: The front desk clerk at breakfast was just sitting behind the counter playing on his phone while the coffee urns were all empty and the majority of the food was empty. Keep the coffee urns full at least.

There were cockroaches on the walls less than 7 hours into my stay 1/13/2026 and no refund issued so I will be contacting the local board of health since corporate nor the individual location is not cooperating. This is illegal and absurd, inhabitual not to mention violating health conducts. I have picture proof and the location is aware of the issue stating pest control sprays every 2 weeks?!? HOW IS THIS OKAY

This is the worst place I have ever stayed. The rates are extremely high for what you get. Similar places in better locations are $40.00 cheaper. The cost isn't what makes it ridiculous, though.
