Best Western Paradise Inn

Had a very nice stay! Love the cleanliness of the room & bathroom! Very nice breakfast area we enjoyed the variety of things to choose from it’s great for the family! Victoria at the front desk was so very helpful thankful for her! Over all we will definitely be returning! 😊

After arriving at location and checking in (very nice receptionist lady) we were advised tv services were not working as they were switching providers and only a few channels worked, TV did not work even after receptionist attempted to correct and fix which meant no tv for the 2 little ones for the next 2 days. Entering the room, be prepared to bring your scents as the room smelled of old musty motel scent.The area was clean but bedding was very wrinkled (not a big issue) . Plugs were outdated with no plugs that had any usb ports like most hotels have already, Executive suite did not have a pull out sofa as we had been told upon reserving, first day away housekeeping stopped by and only removed trash but didn’t tidy beds or clean. Positive: I read many reviews of similar priced hotels before picking this one. They were great! Super friendly staff(even when we checked in late at night) Full breakfast included which was important to us. SUPER clean room. Cold AC. Negative: If I had to choose something to complain about I?d say there was some road noise but they can?t control that.

For it being a motel instead of a hotel, it was surprisingly a very clean and quiet stay, especially with it being right next to a major highway. I would like to add that the bed and pillows were very comfortable, much more comfortable than a stay I had about a month ago at a Fairfield Hotel for a higher price. Proof that you can still get good quality at a reasonable price. I almost forgot to mention that Julio was very helpful when I called to book and that Victoria was so sweet when I checked-in.

This was a really bad experience for me. The two stars is only because of the nice lady when I checked in other than that, the odor that others have mentioned on here was so so bad it smelled like humidity \chemicals. It was so bad !also during my stay, the power went out and I had a business meeting in the morning, so I couldn’t even get ready because it was so dark in the room . I do understand that things happen, but when I went to report it at the front office that morning, the reception wasn’t apologetic and just not good customer service overall. and the no AC was no joke. It is so humid in corpus and so uncomfortable. I checked out as early as I could.
