Best Western Nittany Inn Milroy

A 3 night stay became 2 as we had to shorten our visit. Nobody at Best Western or the staff at the hotel advised us they were having a new roof put on. We booked their suite online. We needed space for family to visit at different times, to rest, and to work, while we also came and went. On the 2nd floor. On day #2 roofers worked for 10+ hours, after setting up their debris slide and trailer outside our window at 7 AM.||There were other issues. The hotel does not have a working ice machine. They do provide the standard hotel ice bucket however. A toilet was sitting outside our window. The bathroom had cleanliness issues, as well as torn wallpaper revealing green mold on the wall. ||The A/C units in hotel rooms are usually noisy, this one also squeaked, and setting it to a specific hot or c

Very clean. Only things keeping it from being a 5 star are the mattresses, pillows and some minor maintenance issues. Otherwise its nice, fairly quiet and is across from a huge antique mall.

The facility is in a busy part of town near lots of shops, fast-food restaurants, and gas stations. This is good if you're tired of driving and want to walk across the street for some food. The price was about average for Best Western. The facility was likewise average with some needed maintenance seemingly on hold. E.g., holes in the plaster in the bathroom, ceiling water damage patched but unpainted, armchair looking worn and soiled... ||The internet did not work in my room. When I asked the staff for help, the young woman at the front desk said "it works on my phone" and that was the end of the conversation. She gave me the number of their internet provider so I could figure it out myself. I know utilities can sometimes go out, but how the staff dealt with this was way below usual BW st

It is right off the highway. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable with a nice assortment of pillows. There is a Rutters with an Arby's across a street, a dollar store across the parking lot and a nest BBQ joint that had live music on an outside patio. Have stayed here twice.

We stayed here just passing through. It’s your typical cheap 2 star hotel, It did its job. The room was clean enough, the bathroom was honestly a mess, pipes leaking on the floor, mold everywhere and spiders. However the bed was spotless, clean and bug free which is all I care about. Breakfast was decent for the place too. So yes it’s run down and ugly but it’s clean where it matters
