BEST WESTERN Mulberry Hotel

I made this reservation for a family member who was visiting from another State. She said that this hotel is easy to navigate to and located in a very nice, quiet area. Beautiful landscape and plenty of parking space. The room was spacious, clean, with everything she needed to make her stay very comfortable like coffee maker, small refrigerator and microwave, etc. Nice desk for computer and chair and reliable WI-FI service. There was also an additional chair with a small table to sit down and eat or relax. The bed was very comfortable, and she loved the style of the curtains. Once she closed the colored one, the room was dark to help with sleep. The breakfast was plenty and the staff very helpful and friendly. I stayed for 5 nights. The doctor not clean the rooms every day and I had to ask for towels the second night. Seems a little overpriced for the area. The gala at the front desk are all friendly and polite, especially the assistant manager, Samantha.

Odd smell throughout, almost like a rebranded super 8... breakfast person was super nice, front desk gave middle finger when we made one hour late checkout request even though we were literally the ONLY guests in the whole building. Cables broken on weight machine. Situated conveniently near the phosphorus mine, but the pollution made for a stunning sunrise!

There were many good things, but they were outweighed by the extreme dampness in our room (125). Looking at reviews on their website after the fact, we are not the only ones who have dealt with this. Not sure if it's just that room or others as well. The towels and bedding felt damp, pillows smelled of mildew. After showering felt as if I would never get dry, even after lots of baby powder. The lady who checked us in was very pleasant and apologetic when I came back to ask for dry towels. The deadbolt wouldn't completely lock, but I felt safe there. The breakfast area had lots of and which was nice. The bathroom had great lighting but no exhaust fan to take away moisture. It was quiet and no one parks in the back where our room was, so no talking/doors closing to disturb you. Wh

It was better than our first stay. They have done some remodeling to the rooms.
