Best Western McKenzie

I went to hotel thinking it's of India but there is saw everything different. I love to be here and I was alone but the safe was so polite and good that I love to be here. Thank you entire staff for best hospitality. Thank you once again.

I am sharing my personal experience to help others make a wise choice. There seems to be a change since our visit last summer or perhaps, the hotel was too busy to fully address the needs of guests. My hunch is they became surprised with the number of guests and had not prepared rooms accordingly. We had two rooms for one night as we visited family in the area.||||For the entire visit, we were unable to use the internet. First I was told it was overloaded or busy with other guests by the front desk person, then the manager assumed I was using a laptop and a firewall blocked. We were using our phones, the same as at Drury Hotels and Hilton where we experienced zero issues. I never did get the phones to work which I need for my job.||||My room was not as clean as last year with few amenities

We had to find a hotel as we got in off the highway late to see family on the area. I placed the reservation online before arriving. We had to stand outside and use a phone to get checked in. The guy that answered was rude and asked me when was my check in date and when I told him "today" he asked me my name he hung up and walked through the door into the office where the check in window was. With angry scowl and eyes bloodshot, never once smiled like he was angry that I just woke him up or something. It was rather cold out and never once did he ask us to step in to complete the process. The room was old and needs updating with the amount of money charged per night. I cleaned it myself because if the guy at the front desk gave me bad service who knows if they care to clean.

My friends from out of state came in for my father's funeral and booked a room here. A couple of hours after checking in we were getting ready to go to sleep, and pulled back the covers to find multiple bed bugs. Management did not seem surprised when we told them about the bed bugs.

I stayed here with my mother who booked the room under her name. Rooms were very clean and the continental breakfast was good. Despite arriving around 2am to check in the night manager was very friendly and helpful and the next afternoon he was also helpful in helping find places we were looking for in the area. The day manager was also friendly and helpful in getting the charges updated to align with the benefits on my mother’s rewards account. Overall very nice and affordable stay. Will definitely select this location again if we visit this area another time.
