the outside of the hotel looked ok. My husband and I were traveling back after dealing with a family death. we had been traveling all day. thought we would get some sleep. stopped, asked for a room, got the keys for the room, got to the door, which wasn't locked; you could push the door open without a key. The beds weren't made. the bathroom still had used stuff in it. turned around, went to the front desk, and asked for a different room. They gave us a room key to a different hallway. The door still didn't lock, smelled dirty, and the beds were made, but the bathroom was filthy. I wasn't even there 10 minutes between both rooms. I spent a weekend here with my boyfriend. The first encounter with staff was alright. I paid for a larger scale room, but the front desk clerk claimed to only have one of those left, right next to the elevator. He didn't discount the rate, but instead moved us to a smaller room at the end of the hall. So I ended up paying $123 for a King room plus a $35 pet fee. My dog is 10 lbs, 14 years old, and does not make a mess. I paid the fee and was honest he was there with us. I’ve never stayed at a Best Western before and found this location in desperation. I got stuck driving from Chicago to PA in a really nasty blizzard so I had to stop driving. There are a few other hotels nearby, but I don’t even need to visit them to know that this location is the best choice. Starting with the room, the bed was quite literally comfier than my mattress at home. The pillows felt like clouds and the comforter was almost like a weighted blanket. I had the best sleep in a LONG time. The room was so clean and all the furniture and decor looked new. I ended up checking in at about 5:30 am, the staff was alert and very welcoming even in the middle of a blizzard so early in the morning. Positive: The people that work there were friendly & helpful. The location was great! Negative: Internet didn't work half if the time. Our key cards had to be redone everyday. These things caused inconvenience for us.

I checked in to a room it was in the evening. I had stopped there because I’ve been on the road all day me and my husband. The person at the front desk gave me my key. I went to go look at my room.
