Best Western Fostoria Inn & Suites

We were in town for a wedding and this hotel was close to the venue. The front desk staff was very freindly and helpful. The breakfast was OK I always enjoy making a hot waffle. The other hot option was making a breakfast sandwich which I was told was OK but they would have preferred something more.

We arrived without a reservation and felt fortunate to get a room. Every staff member was courteous and friendly. The room was very celan and lacked nothing. (as we anticipated from previous stay 2 years earlier). Definitely would stay again when in the area.

Not a traveling worker friendly Hotel. Made a 3 day reservation due to no way of knowing how long a job would take, figured I would probably have to extend it. Checked into hotel on Sunday night around 9pm. Went to work on Monday morning. Opened unit for repair, not as bad as anticipated finished up around 7pm. Returned to hotel around 8:30 pm on Monday. Went straight to desk clerk and said I would be checking out Tuesday morning. Was told I would still have to pay for the 3rd night no matter what. I could understand If I waited till checkout time or even the day of. Hotel is no where close to full. Hotel was perfect. The staff was wonderful. Tim is a huge asset to that establishment. He made you feel like family. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly and nice. Breakfast had a large variety and the fruit was fresh. The hotel overall was extremely clean, which is important. This included the outside grounds. Our room was very clean. My only complaint was the shower curtain smelled like mildew. These are paper, thin and easy to take down so since they are wet every single time the shower is used, they should be swapped out frequently. The mildew smell was powerful. The other smell that was strange was the hallway spelt like curry Downstairs outside the front desk. I thought maybe somebody microwaved their dinner.
