Best Western Cottage Grove Inn

This is a nice place with comfortable beds, well kept clean rooms, and friendly staff. We have stayed here multiple times when we didn't feel like driving 2.5 hours back home after visiting family. It is easy access on/off the I5 freeway with plenty of fast food close at hand. The price of the rooms is alway good especially for the comfortable beds.

I stayed there alone for 3 nights for a business trip. As a single female, I felt safe. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. There were key access locks on all of the outside doors and 24/7 staff at the desk. All of the staff I interacted with were very, very pleasant. |Housekeeping did a wonderful job. They made up the room every day without me having to ask which seems like a rarity anymore. |I only had the chance to try breakfast once, but it was very good and there seemed to be a lot of it! I loved having a little fridge and microwave in the room. Since it was a business trip, maybe I should have been more worried about having an iron in the room, but...mmm no I was much happier about the fridge/microwave.

Positive: Convenient location and good breakfast Negative: Tge carpet was wet by tge couch in our room so not sure what happened there eek 😬

They had interior hallways. The room had one king bed, a sofa, 3 drawer dresser and desk/chair. There were two nightstands with lots of plugs by the bed. The hook on the bathroom door was placed too high to reach, the bed was super high and very firm making it uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on the floor. Breakfast was good. They had pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, biscuits/gravy, yogurt, muffins, oranges, cereal as well as juices, instant oatmeal and cocoa packets.

The service my 1st night was unacceptable? He practically laughed at me because i couldnt get my key to work. The rest of the days everyone was kind helpful and top notch. I was there because my dad was hospitalised and I had driven all the way from washington...he didnt care. But everyone else was sweet and caring.
