Best Western California City Inn & Suites

I've stayed here multiple times now for multiple night stays as I have family in Cal City. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating, especially Makayla who has gone above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and welcoming as possible. I can't remember the name of the other woman that work the front desk but they are always amazing from the check in, to the breakfast, to the check out. The rooms are clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries, tissues and shampoo etc. They have a small fitness center which i definitely take advantage of every time I stay here. There's coffee and tea available 24/7 and the breakfast is actually pretty good. I will definitely recommend this BW in California City if you find yourself in in this little desert town.

We chose this hotel because it was at the ideal stopping point after a trip through Death Valley on our way to Sequoia National Park. ||The town itself has seen better days. But the people are exceptional and the customer service from this hotel staff was exemplary.||It was like a little oasis in the middle of a dusty, western town. The room was comfortable, and everything worked! ||The breakfast was pretty standard, but they did have a yogurt machine, which was a nice surprise..||Everything was very clean and maintained. We chose this place because of the great reviews. I rely heavily on TripAdvisor reviews and this one was very accurate. We drove out of the way to get here and we are glad we did.

Stay here 1 night with another friend. First room was smelly but they changed the room for us, so everything was good for a short stay. - Clean (no dust) - A little bit old decoration but understandable - Not too far from Mcdonald and starbucks - Plenty of parking spaces- Small pool / 4-5 seems crowded. - Water pressure and water temp in the bathroom is good.

Hotel clean, good breakfast, very nice staff, but the hotel is far away from the "center" where food stores and restaurants are located, so you need to drive. It is a little bit expensive, but there is no much choice in Cal City. Overall a good place to stay.

I stay here once a year and it's always a total oasis in the desert. 10/10, looking forward to my next stay. Why? - Nice, efficient check-in people - Fair prices - Clean lobby, rooms, and grounds - Well-functioning amenities - Comfy, quiet rooms
