Best Travel Inn Philipsburg

Beware! I paid in advance and thru my card getting declined found out that they charged me another $100 at check-in!!! Told it was a mistake and would be back on my card the next day. It wasn't. When I checked out I was assured it would be back on there come Monday. It wasn't and now three weeks later I'm still getting ignored by them after numerous attempts to contact them about it so they can make it right. It might not be much to them but a $100 plus overdrafts from my bank because of it and no reason as to why has me a little upset. I guess it's just the legal way to rob someone nowadays!!! I lost everything I had including my house, car and all of my belongings to a fire that's why I stayed there for 3 days cause that's all I could afford but I guess you needed the $100 more t

I'm currently here and the housekeeper came in my room without knocking twice now... first time an hour after I checked into a clean room wile I was in the bathroom and again the next day when I was asleep.. as of right now they don't want to talk about refunds or discounts. Housekeeping doesn't knock so be prepared I guess

I don’t like putting a rather low review in for a hotel run by such lovely people. But the room was a disappointment. ||+ great super friendly staff |+ clean room|+ room had all basic amenities||- rooms smells very moldy! My advice: take all carpets out and replace by laminate hard flooring. I had to sneeze multiple times every time I entered the room! |- very short and hard beds with undercover linen with a plastic layer. Very sweaty and making cracking noise at any movement|- airco and fridge very noisy, and lot of noise from the busy road. ||The hotel has potential and I hope my review can help realize it. As said - owners and staff are lovely.

Positive: Cleanliness Negative: We got a double bed room and one of the beds was pretty lumpy on one side. Other than that, everything about this motel was great. I was surprised by how cozy and clean the rooms were, especially the bathroom.

I've been here twice and while the service is great and it's an easy in/easy out location right along Route 322, the rooms are not the cleanest. Both times I've stayed here, there were cobwebs in just about every corner of the room and the bath and the walls had dirt (or something) on them. I always travel with cleaning supplies and do a thorough cleaning anyways but if you don't, just be prepared for a cheap room, great service, but not the cleanest rooms.
