Best Southern Motel

I just have a friend that lives there and it's disgusting. Roaches everywhere in the room. Owner is maybe there 2 times a month and 1 of those days is to collect rent/payments. So it's hard for my friend to get clean towels, washclothes, toilet paper and anything else they r to provide..

This is an older motel. Very tired and run down! Must of the occupants are long term 'renters' (see: homeless of Erwin that need a cheap place to stay). Now these folks are pretty quiet for the most part (other than the rather interesting chain smoker that calls to other rooms regularly looking for a ride to get cigarettes... Sigh. Just don't answer the phone). The rooms are very dingy and only superficially clean. Heaters/AC barely work but the staff will shift one from another room if yours absolutely doesn't work -_-. The showers...oh my goodness... water temperature and pressure are dependent on what anyone else in the motel is doing. So prepare yourself for dodging ice water/scalding water! If you have a top floor room, you will smell whatever the people below you are cooking

I have a couple friends that stay there & it's terrible. There r cockroaches everywhere & some rooms have bed bugs. They need 2 take care of the living circumstances considering wat they charge these people 2 stay there.

The staff is super rude, I had roaches in my room. The room smelled so bad when I got there that I had to buy air freshener and I still had a bad headache all night. The drain for the tub is very rusted and moldy and if you use the a/c, you get this god awful sound every 2 min so you have to open the bathroom window to cool down at night. Next time, I'll pay the extra $$ and go somewhere else. Talk about getting what you paid for.

The room was run down, smelled musty, ceiling had tears hanging down, the price is ok if you want run down. The bed was hard as chinese arithmetic "you can actually feel the springs". The rooms are no smoking, but that doesn't stop anyone, the ventilation in the bathrooms are all connected, so if one person smokes everyone will smell it, I had my door open all the time. No pride of ownership at all...I paid for a week which was the worst week of my life!!
