Benzonia Rustic Resort

The property is beautiful and quiet. It is clean and wll maintained. My boy and I had a wonderful time walking down to the nearby dam and the Betzie river to watch the salmon leaping up the falls. The rooms were comfortable and the living space including the kitchen and couch and easy chair were clean and great for cooking meals and enjoying our stay. The wind was up on one day and a tree was rubbing against the front porch roof making some noise, but this was the only issue we had. |Our host was most gracious and helpful on this matter.

Rented the larger lodge cabin. Everything was great, we caught a few steelhead and king salmon everyone had a blast. Check in/out was super easy with digital locks. I’d highly recommend this place.

We greatly enjoyed our stay here. Such a cute little quaint place to stay. Linens and everything was very clean. We will definitely be back to stay again if in the area. Would have liked to enjoyed a few more amenities: fire pit, river, etc. It was so pretty. Only reason We didnt give 5 stars is because the mattress was a little rough & the shower was made for someone taller than 5'4". The water pressure was great but practically hit you in the face. We ran out of toilet paper too, but I'm sure if we would have asked we could have got more. 🙂

I booked a room online showed up at the Place. The owner said it was 1 o’clock he said we can’t check you in. I’m the owner. Don’t tell me what to do or how to do my job. Nice place you can do a lot of fishing. Just maybe you’ll have to sleep in your car.
