Bells Marina Campground

This was the cutest place. The owners and ataff are absolutely amazing! The campgrounds are well maintained and the beds are some of the most comfortable I've slept on. Give this place a try if you’re in the Cross, SC area!

The owners have created such a beautifully quiet location! The hotel rooms are clean and simply decorated. The bed was comfortable. Nice outdoor seating/outdoor kitchen area. Small playground available.

If you are looking for THAT place, this could be the one. I'll start with the cons because it's a short list and one of them is my personal preference. I found that the online reservation to be a little confusing only because the campground runs on site cottages and a hotel as well. Most of the sites are longterm with only a few weekenders which leads me to my 2nd con. Kind of quiet when it comes to that "campground community" interactions but, that may be your cup of tea. I like to share adult beverages with new friends if you know what I mean. Fire Ants, lots of them so beware. And finally, the water pressure in the mornings was pretty bad but, as the morning pregressed it returned to normal. We stayed here for a week and kids enjoyed the dock catching small bluegill. Nice looking out over the water and great place if you have a fishing boat. Park was clean, quiet at night and had big grassy area by lake to use. Site #10 was fairly level but approach had a dip that came close to bottoming out our large Class A. Water pressure low but usable. Okay value overall at $75 a night.

Very nice place, clean and well maintained. Jud, one of the owners, was very friendly and told us he and his wife are 5th generation owners. Highly recommend for a quiet laid back experience
