Bellissimo Grande Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

We had tickets to see shows at Foxwoods. However, the room rates at Foxwoods was very high and since we were not going there to gamble, we looked for a nearby hotel with much reasonable rates.|We looked at several hotels, and we decided on the Bellissimo Grande Hotel for several reasons.|1. The room rates were very reasonable.|2. The hotel was nearby to do shopping, stop by a few wineries and just general driving.|3. The hotel had a shuttle to and from Foxwoods which was a big plus. The drive was only about 5 minutes.if I had to drive to Foxwoods and park, I would have had to park in a garage that’s not exactly near the entrance and take a shuttle from garage to hotel.|4. Hotel reputation. Wyndham has an excellent reputation for hotels.||The room was very comfortable and clean.||Definitely

First time at this hotel and we decided last minute to stay overnight new years eve and hit Foxwoods. This hotel does a free shuttle on the hour to the casino. We booked a king presidential suite and it was nice. Very High ceilings with tapestry draped from ceiling to bed headboard, making it look very Victorian like. Room had a fireplace near the bed with a TV mounted above. You can easily lounge in bed and sign into your Netflix and just relax. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was huge with a stand up walk in shower and a seperate whirlpool jetted tub with another TV mounted to relax in a whirlpool and watch some shows! 2 seperate vanities which is very nice so I could get my hair done and hubby could do.his thing! They have a hair dryer mounted to wall and shampoo/conditioner and

I decided to go solo for a relaxing trip, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. Don’t let the negative reviews deter you; go and experience it for yourself. The service was excellent, even though I didn’t use it extensively. I only needed to pick up my room key and ask a few simple questions, but the staff was attentive and helpful. The most important aspect for me was the cleanliness of the room. It was spotless, which is crucial for me. Additionally, the hotel has a bar on-site, which is not overly large but comfortable. The gym room is small and has limited equipment, but that didn’t affect my overall experience. The pool is also small, but that doesn’t diminish the enjoyment of the stay.

We have visited this hotel multiple times since 2010. This is the first time I have been disappointed. The front staff was rude, we booked through our credit card and the wrong room was booked. The rooms were the same price but the pictures were the same online so we thought we got one with a tub and ended up not. We asked if there were the other rooms available and we could switch. They said they would charge us 60.00 more. I showed them the rooms were the same price and the pictures were the same, they said there was nothing they would do unless we paid. So we paid the difference just to avoid a fight. We got a free appetizer from the lounge with our room. After settling in we went down for the shuttle and had a drink and an app. While we waited.
