This "motel" is NOT really a motel. It's a shelter. The people at the door were rude as hell. When my family & I approached, they blocked us at the door & said this is private property & wouldn't even let us stand inside to call a cab. They have horrible business practices & should be reviewed by whatever government entity that put them there!
Small room but perfectly adequate and it only took us about 15 minutes to drive to JFK airport. Late checkout was not a problem and staff were very helpful. Despite other reviews stating that it is noisy I did not find that at all - I had a room at the rear of the hotel. Sleep comfort was good and breakfast adequate. Free car parking was a bonus.||Supermarket directly across the road. Also a short (20 minute) drive to the American Airpower museum at Farmingdale.
Although the staff was very friendly and helpful that was the best part of the stay. The room was small, it was dusty, there was tape on the wall to hold the wall paper up, the bed skirt had a stain it was definitely not a nice room. Breakfast wasn't nice either. Only hot option was sausage and omlette. Other than that there was cereal and bagel. Unfortunately I would not recommend this hotel.
You obviously get what you pay for. The staff was ok and somewhat friendly. I booked this room last minute for Rolling Loud. It was a decent price for 4 days. Only a couple of things were wrong. I requested a blanket and never received one. I requested an iron and was told that they didn’t have any extra. The ice machine worked. Room stayed cold. Hotel is in waking distance to food nearby. Also a dollar tree, CVS and 7/11 literally across the street. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible stay. The room was kind of outdated, but those are the same pics online.
Only one bed!!! Benton Midwest when you book a queen room you assume there's two beds. Guess not. We booked for three of us as we're taking our daughter off to college and ended up with one bed asked if they could give us a room with two beds... there's only two in the whole entire hotel. We had booked online and they would not refund our money So we made do and three of us slept on a queen bed.one of us was going to sleep on the floor but reading pride reviews that there cockroaches on the floor we decided to stay up on the bed. Breakfast very minimalistic sausages and egg omelette with cheese whiz in the middle ...this was served everyday for our four-day stay here. Room was relatively clean. They need to put microwave and bar fridges in each room there are no amenities at this place.
